Recycling Information

Our Recycling Company refuses to pick up our recycling materials when the bins have improper materials in them.  Especially: plastic bags, Styrofoam, and food particles.  These types of items damage the recycling equipment.

The following are not acceptable items:

• No plastic bags (Publix -Walgreens etc.)
• No garbage bags
• No electronics
• No Styrofoam
• No dishes or ceramics
• No food waste (rinse your recycling)
• No motor oil containers
• No household hazardous waste
• No light bulbs, window glass or mirrors
• No trash or yard waste
• No hardback books
• No waxed cardboard (no milk cartons - Juice boxes)

Please do your best to put only acceptable materials in the recycling bins. This will ensure the recycling is picked up in a timely manner.

NOTE: There is a trash chute on each floor next to the most southerly elevator. Please put garbage, trash, and all non-recyclable materials in a tied trash bag and send it down the chute.
