Rules and Regulations Condensed for Renters

TERRA MAR RULES AND INFORMATION FOR RENTERS

 

1.      Renters must register with the Condominium Association (or confirm that the owner has registered for them) by placing a registration form in the box near the Maintenance Office by the northerly elevator. Registration is due upon arrival. The approved registration form is available via this link:   Renter Registration Form

2.      The minimum rental period is 14 days. No more than six (6) people may occupy a rented Unit.

3.      Comply with posted signs/rules.

4.      Renters are not permitted to have any pets.

5.      SMOKING: Renters may smoke within the rented unit, if permitted by the owner. Renters are not permitted to smoke on the lanais, balconies, stairwells, elevators, or anywhere on the property other than within the units and in the southeast corner of the parking lot.

6.      POOL:  No lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk. Observe posted rules.

    a.      The pool is closed at dusk.

    b.      The pool opens at 9 am, except lap swimmers may use the pool prior to 9 am.

    c.      No child may be left unattended at the pool, and a competent adult must be in attendance when their children are in the pool. Children who are not toilet-trained are not allowed in the pool unless wearing secure fitting swim diapers.

    d.      Pool furniture may not be removed from the pool area.

    e.      Food and glass containers are prohibited in the pool area.

    f.        Running and diving is prohibited, as is any activity that infringes on the safety and/or comfort of others. Aggressive ball playing and other “horse play” are not permitted in the pool area. The pool-depth rope may not be ridden or played upon.

    g.      The following items are allowed in the pool: noodles, baby wings and small children's rings. Floats and rafts are not permitted.

7.      Tennis/Paddleball courts: 9 am to dusk, on a first-come first-served basis. One hour maximum if others are waiting.

8.      Gas BBQ grills are available on the front lawn. No other grills are permitted. Please clean the grill after use and please remember to turn the propane tank off when done. No fire of any kind is permitted on Terra Mar property.

9.      Quiet Hours – 10 pm to 7 am., and at no time may anyone be loud or disruptive, or engage in behavior that is a nuisance to others.

10. Garbage chutes are located on each floor near the southerly elevator. Please use plastic bags (no loose items) and tie the plastic bags. Terra Mar recycles glass, cans, cardboard and newspapers. Recyclable bins are located in the parking area. Items such as plastic bags, Styrofoam, food waste, glass (other than glass jars), and waxed cardboard MAY NOT be put in the recyclable dumpsters. Please read the labels on the recyclable bins for permitted items.

11. Fire exits, stairwells, and balconies – may not be used for storage or be obstructed in any way. Bikes: Bikes may be stored in the bike rack, but are subject to disposal without notice unless there is a readable tag identifying the owner by name and unit number.

12. Parking – in the numbered spot for your Unit or in the unnumbered spots. No motor homes, campers, boats, trailers of any kind, or commercial vehicles are permitted.

13. The full text of the Governance documents – Articles of Incorporation, Declaration, ByLaws, and Rules and Regulations are available from the owner of the unit you are renting.
